Attributes and Performance Data

This troop seat (P/N 109371 series) is designed for use in the SH-2G(A) aircraft cabin in either forward-, aft- or side-facing applications. Although conceived and originally designed for bulkhead mounting, floor-to-ceiling stanchion mounting options are also available. The seat includes a tubular seat frame with an integral headrest, a shoulder cushion, a fabric seat pan and seat back, an energy-absorber system, and a four-point restraint system with a rotary-release buckle. The seat pan is hinged and easily deployed or stowed.

TROOP SEAT ASSEMBLY

The seat is easily adjustable to accommodate an occupant with or without a backpack or parachute. The seat pan folds quickly into a 36.3-x 19.6-x 6-in. envelope for easy stowage, permitting fast reconfiguration of the cabin for cargo loading or for the optimal combination of troops and cargo. The quick-release, pinned interface facilitates emergency egress and/or seat removal.
